 Following is pertinent information regarding designing a cake, ordering a cake, portion and cutting guides and CC&P's basic cake guide: Pricing: Custom cakes are priced on a cake-by-cake basis. Pricing depends on the design of your cake, the more intricate the design, the more costly the cake. Basic pricing is $3.00 per serving, see serving charts below to estimate pricing. This basic pricing includes your choice of pan shape, cake flavor, buttercream flavor, 5 decorating colors, border and basic decorations. Sculpted cakes begin at $75.00. We specialize in fondant cakes, with a virtually unlimited amount of design options available. The majority of our work is done by hand and made from scratch. We have a passion for beautifully designed, great-tasting desserts and hope to share with you. All of our cakes are made to order from fillings to decorations.  Cake Info: A Country Cake is custom, made to order, from start to finish. Delivery: CC&P will deliver all cakes that are more than two tiers. The delivery fee is a flat rate of $25.00 up to 50 miles from Cave City. You may pick-up your cake, please discuss details on transporting a cake with Debbie. Shipping: We will not ship finished cakes. We will ship components and decorations to add to a cake on site. Experience has taught me that cakes do not ship well and we cannot guarantee a damage-free cake. Wedding Cakes: We require a 30% deposit and a signed cake contract to reserve your order. The balance is due at least two weeks prior to your event and installment payments may be made. With sufficient notice, we can make changes to your design, the number of servings, and the flavors once the order is placed. No changes to the design will be accepted within 5 days of the event. This contract is to protect CC&P and their clients when providing a wedding cake. Party Cakes (Baby Shower, Birthday, etc): We will reserve your order once you have approved the design and price quote. The price quote will be based on your specific design and a number of servings. With sufficient notice, we can make changes to your design, the number of servings, and the flavors once the order is placed. Design changes will not be accepted within three days of your event. For Party Cakes, there is no set price list, as all cakes are priced on a per cake basis. Price depends on several factors including size, complexity of design, and design options. All cakes require a minimum of five days prior to the event date. Some design aspects require time to set. Cakes required in less than five days may incur additional fees. You can call Debbie at (270)404-1230 during business hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm Sunday-Saturday) with any questions or concerns. Debbie may not be able to take or return your call during business hours and may return your call after 5:00 pm. Please leave a message. Tastings and consultations are reserved for Wedding Cakes serving 75 people or more. For Party Cakes (baby shower, birthday, anniversary, etc.), we offer phone consultations, as most of these cakes can be designed by telephone, email, and fax. Our Wedding Cake consultations are by appointment only Contact Debbie at (270)404-1230 to schedule a tasting and/or consultation. Our delivery area is a 50 mile radius from Cave City, KY. Further distances incur delivery fees. We deliver Sunday - Saturday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. We will need a specific delivery time and a contact person at the destination or venue for all cake orders. We will work with florists, coordinators or venue personnel to set-up.
