Tastings and consultations are required for Wedding Cakes serving 75 people or more. For Party Cakes (baby shower, birthday, anniversary, etc.), we offer phone consultations, as most of these cakes can be designed by telephone, email, and fax. Tastings and consultations are available by appointment only at a fee of $30.00. This fee is to be paid at the appointed cunsultation. If you choose CC & P as your wedding cake provider, $20.00 of this fee will be applied to the balance of your cake price.
 
Our Wedding Cake consultations are by appointment only. Contact Debbie at (270)404-1230 to schedule a tasting and/or consultation. Bring along any design ideas, photos, color swatches or aspects of the wedding such as your invitation, dress detail or other elements of the wedding that you would like to incorporate into your cake.  Please take the time to search on line for trends, styles, colors.
 
Look at cake designer sites for ideas. Search by wedding cake photos and /or wedding cake designers and you'll have hundreds of cakes to look at. If you don’t have any of the above, don’t worry!! We’ll come up with a perfect cake design while you’re here.
 
We require a 30% deposit and a signed cake contract to reserve your order. The balance is due at least two weeks prior to your event and may be paid in installments. A copy of the cake contract can be found here.
 
With sufficient notice, we can make changes to your design, the number of servings, and/or the flavors once the order is placed. No changes to the design will be accepted within 14 days of the event.

You can call Debbie at (270)404-1230 during business hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm Sunday-Saturday) with any questions or concerns. Debbie may not be able to take or return your call during business hours and may return your call after 5:00 pm. Please, leave a message.     
   
Our delivery area is a 50 mile radius from Cave City, KY. Further distances will incur delivery fees.
 
Many caterers or venues will not cut and serve a cake they did not provide. CC&P offers their services to stay and cut and serve the cake at a fee of $75.00.
 
We deliver Sunday - Saturday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. We will need a specific delivery time and a contact person at the destination or venue for all cake orders. We will work with florists, coordinators or venue personnel to set-up. We do not allow pick up of wedding cakes; CC&P will deliver and set up, NO exceptions.

Edible favors: We can provide mini cakes, decorated cookies or cupcakes as favors for your guests for your bridal shower or wedding reception. We can also provide candies; personalized chocolates or conversation hearts as favors. Please ask Debbie how CC&P can personalize a speacial favor for your event.

Freezing your bride and groom's cake:
 
To freeze the top of a wedding cake:  for any frosted cake, we suggest that you place the cake in the freezer uncovered and unwrapped for 24 hours to completely freeze. If your cake is covered in fondant, we suggest removing before freezing. The condensation that can occur when you defrost or bring to room temperature can destroy the finish of the fondant. After 24 hrs., remove cake from freezer, wrap in several layers of plastic wrap. Wrap tightly and try to remove as much air from around the cake as possible. Then wrap in two layers of heavy duty foil. The cake is now ready to set in a deep freeze. When defrosting, remove foil and plastic wrap. Let sit at room temperature and lightly cover with plastic wrap, loosely so frosting does not cling to wrap. 
 
If reluctant to eat a year old piece of cake, visit us prior to your first anniversary and we will be glad to make a fresh cake that will replicate your wedding cake.
